Discuss your South African team
Tell us what you are considering, whether that is employing someone already identified, sourcing an initial hire or building a broader South African team.
InfraLayer will help define the local employment, sourcing, technology and operating infrastructure required around the team. Employees are employed locally through InfraLayer's South African EOR partner.
The client manages the people and their work. InfraLayer manages the EOR relationship and provides the local operating infrastructure underneath.
Where would you like to start?
Employ someone already identified
For businesses that already know who they want to employ in South Africa and need a compliant local employment framework, payroll and HR administration.
Transition an existing South African team
For businesses moving employees or contractors from another EOR provider or contractor arrangement. InfraLayer coordinates the employment and infrastructure transition around existing notice and contract terms, with continuity of day-to-day work protected as far as practicable.
Source and employ in South Africa
For businesses that need InfraLayer to source South African professionals as well as provide the local employment and operating infrastructure.
Build a supported remote team
For businesses that require locally procured corporate equipment, connectivity, power resilience and local technical support around remote employees.
Build a team with Cape Town workspace
For businesses planning a broader team that requires professional workspace, local infrastructure and room to expand.
A client can begin with one employee and add people, infrastructure or workspace as the requirement develops.
Tell us about your requirement
The requirement does not need to be fully defined before the first conversation. InfraLayer can help establish the appropriate starting point.
After submitting an enquiry
Introductory discussion
InfraLayer arranges a conversation to understand the client's objectives, roles, timing and operational requirements.
Operating model and commercial proposal
InfraLayer outlines the appropriate employment, sourcing, equipment, support and workspace structure. The proposal sets out the monthly Infrastructure Fee, any setup items, the refundable payroll security deposit that protects payroll continuity, and the proposed contract terms.
Deployment planning
Once terms are agreed, InfraLayer coordinates sourcing or employee onboarding, local employment, locally procured corporate equipment and the agreed operating environment.
Timelines depend on the roles, availability, employment requirements, equipment and workspace arrangements. A proposed deployment plan is confirmed once the requirement has been defined.
Your team remains under your control
The client interviews and selects the employees and controls:
- day-to-day work
- reporting lines
- priorities and workflows
- systems, access and data controls
- technical and role-specific training
- performance expectations
- operational KPIs and output
InfraLayer manages the EOR relationship and provides the agreed local employment and operating infrastructure around the team.

Working hours
UK and much of Europe normally have a zero-to-two-hour time difference from South Africa, supporting strong working-day overlap. US East Coast and Central teams can also have workable collaboration windows through an agreed schedule. Other North American and international time zones are assessed against the role and required working pattern.
For employment, sourcing, infrastructure or workspace questions, use the enquiry form or contact InfraLayer directly.
